My aerial doesn't go all the way down so at the weekend I stripped it all out and lubricated it all with WD40 but it still seems to not go down fully.

I stripped all the motor out to see if anything was worn but there was nothing. It goes down if you turn the radio off and then back on and off again really quick.

Please help me.

Just buy a new mast from Nissan, bet it works fine after that;)

so i just disconnected it & used the aerial in the rear screen. i think they look crap with the aerial up, reception is still fine without it anyway.

Gonna rip mine out & blend it over, never use the radio anyway...

Strangley enough I put mine all back together last night (in a very small, unlit garage) and it worked perfectly after two nights in my room. Perhaps it was just wet? I don't know.
