May 29, 200124 yr About 2:30pm a gorgeous red 300 went passed me on the A12 as I was on my way to SE, who was it? Also passed a white and red or black, can't quite remember a little further on. Round Dansbury area, was that you Craig? Tim ;-)
May 29, 200124 yr i think that was us, i was behind craig in the georgeous red 300zx what time did you say i tihnk we left at about 3.pm
May 29, 200124 yr Yeah, that would be about right, must have just missed you guyZ. Do you know who was in the seriously nice red Z about 10 minutes in front of you chaps then? I think it was kitted up and I just saw it blaze passed on the other side of the A12. Looked well sorted! Tim ;-)
May 29, 200124 yr I think you may have saw me in Danbury as I live about 2 minutes down the road from there. My ones the black TT with he Veilside kit and a tabletop on the back!! I passed a couple going through, one white one, and a red one twice. Chris
May 29, 200124 yr Nah, don't think I clocked you and yours Chris, definitely saw Warren and Craig, but the mystery is the Red one on the A12...my fault, I should have got there earlier, but was so knackered on Sunday night I couldn't face a 3 and a half hour drive. Had to cain the crap out of the Merc. to get there at the time I did! It was worth it though! Tim ;-)
May 29, 200124 yr Yep, cheerZ for clearing that up Warren, definitely was him. I've just looked at his car in the rides section. Nice car, if only I hadn't been moving stuff out over the weekend! Would have liked a nosey round his car, very nice indeed! Tim ;-)
May 30, 200124 yr Ah ha, was wondering when someone would get round to that! Most people were to busy getting technical with Pete to socialise, nevermind, I did speak to some of the 200 guys who were a nice bunch! I was the one who turned up at closing time virtually, blue Airwalk T-shirt, Airwalk cargos, black DC trainers and cool shades...MAN! Were you still there then Ed? Thought you had gone! Tim ;-)
May 30, 200124 yr I was there from 9:30 am till 6:00 pm :-( Were you the guy with the feisty looking Red Merc with biggo spoiler?? Helped Pete setup the place and tidy up. He conned me and my Red Z for the Emulator demo ;-) . Some of the other forum members might remember my nervousness of stalling the car for the demo whilst parked an inch away from another car :-| I was pleased that Pete remembered to raise the rev limiter back to how it was before, driving around with a 2k limit could get interesting. Where was your engine then Timmy?? Next time we should wear name badges. Thought about having a jacket & baseball cap made up with a Crazy Eddie logo, when I introduce myself as Crazy Eddie I get the impression I should look a bit Crazier ;-) Se ya timmy

May 30, 200124 yr Eddie, I suggested name badges but nobody went for it, I was going to have one made up with... "I'm Timmy Turbo...who are you?" on it...LOL! No, that was not my red merc. Mine was the graphite black, tasteful one with the electrical tape around the sunroof and the gorgeous alloys! Electrical tape around the sunroof? When I got the car a few months back I noticed that the sunroof button was missing. Just a hole in the dash where it was supposed to be. Took my Brother out in the car and he started tinkering, managed to locate the switch behind the dash and pull it back through...GREAT ME THINKS! Wrong, he opens the sunroof...lovely jubbly...but when he tries to close it nastey noises and grinding make themselves apparent and the f**kin' roof won't close. Cacked me shorts thinking "what if it rains!". So we managed to get it to close with a little physical hands on persuasion but it hasn't sealed fully, hence electrical tape sealing it up. Goes in to Merc. on Saturday! So which chap were you then Ed? Your car is nice. That Racelogic box in amongst all the gubbins in your ECU bay...is that ye 'ole traction control? My car must have been parked right round the back of the 300ZX graveyard that Pete has collected. Hope so, I couldn't get round there to look at her, which was a bit of a bummer! Tim ;-)
May 30, 200124 yr Somehow it looks like we missed each other, I guess I was somewhere, probably noshing out on Petes grub at the back. The racelogic box is part of the Emulator for the demo. I decided not to go for the Traction Control for Money resons, plus I am quite handy with my right foot :-) So no tail happy Z. The only time I spun my Z was a week after getting it, wife was in the car, nuff said haven't spun since. Maybee see ya soon, somhow. Ta
