Hi Guys, i've got a couple of large (42 +) size plasma screens, they are monitors not TV's so act as a PC screen which is what we used them for in our conference rooms some years ago. They are a about 10 years old, but when we used them they seemed okay. So i'm trying to gauge what interest there might be, don't want to pay a fortune to ebay for them not to sell..Any advice would be accepted.

I could probably make use of one or two but would obviously depend on price and condition. Would you be interested in zed bits rather than cash?

dependant upon resolution i to may be interested, drop me a line 07929159828

Would depend on make and model, they seem to be going on ebay for around the 50 to 150 mark in good working order with no screen burn and no stands / remotes, i use a JVC monitor 42inch plasma (2001 so quite old now) as a main TV, its resolution is 1024x768 for PC use, but can accept a 1080i signal if using the component connections on the rear.

If you put them on ebay though, they will sell. i used to buy broken plasma monitors fix and resell them when working.

Interesting, after digging out some pics, one of them is a Pioneer PDP502-MXE with side speakers, (a bit out, theyre 50") i'm not sure it is a TV but seems to take a video signal, i'll get some pics together and think about whats been said.

i'll give you a ring later sayers but i am after cash (sorry slapper..)

Its a TV. One of the early Plasma's. Worth a fair whack back in the day.,

Yowser, yeah, i know, i think we paid about £12,500...twice, one for each main conference room. we replaced them a couple of years ago because we needed Hi-res TV's for video conferences, only cost over a grand each...crazy.. There was nothing wrong with them.

Its defiantly a monitor with no tuning capability, i know i have one sat behind my sofa needing a new screen due to screen burn (again used in a business) ive also got a PDP-501MXE as well. good monitors. bearing in mind one has screen burn, i paid £50 each for them, the other just needs a new capacitor pack on the power board. never got around to fixing them as they weight a ton and are rather bloody large.

realistically Richard, you should get at least 150 to 200 for them on the bay, might get higher depending if the bidders are out that week. but thats only if they are in perfect working order with no screen burn / remote / stand. or wall bracket.
