Being a keen F1 fan,back in December I wrote a letter to the F1 magazine ref Schumacher and won star prize, a Silverstone track day driving a GTR, Lamborghini, Ferrari and a single seat formula Ford.

 

Anyway, I sent the email/letter whilst I was away in Afghanistan and the magazine couldn't reply to me because of our military mail system. When I got back the track experience voucher was waiting for me. Yipee, I've booked and I'm ready to go.

 

Yesterday I get another surprise through my home email from the magazine editor who having visited Afghanistan and the troops some time back for another magazine, has now given me 2, 3 day tickets to the British GP.

 

Nice to receive a small amount of recognition ( I know there is a few of us in the 'mob' on here ).

 

So now all I have to do is find some accommodation near Silverstone for me and the wife. It will be our first wedding anniversary also.
