Modifing a Plenum

I'm in the middle of having a plenum Modified and removing aload of stuff of it ..

 

Taken off the

bolt mounts

pcv valves

water pipes

Blocking off Balance bar ( removed )

Now the IDle control valve the balance bar Feeds it from the small pipe

throu the plenum and then back out in to outlet turbo pipe

 

do u guys think it will be ok to make a Internal hole with in the plenum

on one side to feed the idle control unit

 

all so is there any other info on this at all ?
