For an mot do you need both doors to be able to open from the outside? It's just the crx has door popers and one needs a new solenoid

i would say yes

As long as the driver side works you should be ok but its up to the mot tester.

I can open the other door from the inside just not the outside so was thinking if the passengers didn't open then it might be ok

all doors need to open from the outside - front doors also need to open from the inside

rear doors are ok if they have had the handles permenantly filled - see the notes on the left side of the link I posted :)
