Its actually the other way round... We do it differently to the rest of Europe.

They have numbers after names.

Postal areas usually have numbers only. and in some countries the town and streeet order are reversed

Cany any of you make sense out of this to put into our way of writing an address?

Just stick "Austria" at the bottom of it mate, it'll make sense to them.

Aye I would if it was just one field to enter like the whole address but it's split into the usual -

Street

Locality

Town

County

Postcode

Try just putting in the post code A-A-4600 Wels first and see if it can find the address.

Got it to find the address with 4600 and his house number -

Royal Mail mentality is that they'd have to pay for the postmans return ticket aswell!
