Just wandering if I purchase a 12v car scissor jack it will work upside down to lower a projector from a ceiling and then back up again?

 

Yes , I know I can buy a purpose made projector lift but they are expensive and I like making my own things on the cheap :D

My z31?? Its looking a little rough lately,its been outside for 6 months and its turned pink :( bloody thing started 1st time though and runs beautiful, needs a lot of tlc, you can have it if i explode into a fireball

Ime into all this "other uses for stuff" mate..sure it would work and why not,its only a motorised up and down thingy. Ide tend to use a screw ram myself.

yea thats the suckers...i was going to pm you as there only electric gate openers,they will give you a more precise and stable movement and look cooler instead of a iron bed coming through the ceiling LOL
