okay one for the sparkies out there, the contact has come away from the rear window demist element , i was told to buy some conductive glue , which i did , to stick the thing back in position, trouble is, it is like water , and in a word not sticky ,i followed the instructions , made sure everything was clean etc etc however even after being held in position overnight it just did not seem to do anything and the contact just fell off again , does anyone know of a sure fire way to re attach the wire contact, im hoping that there is a conductive type double sided sticky pad or similar, i cant be the only one to have experienced this issue,

mine is the same... i tried soldering it and it fixed it for a shot time (6 months) but since I didn't do a very good job because of the upside-down location it broke again when I was cleaning the window.

I'd be interested to know a better fix as well.

Right then Mr Man, I have done a few hours of research , and have arranged for some samples to be sent to me from the states,

they are double sided sticky tabs which are ultra electrically conductive and originally designed for use in MRI scanners, without doubt they will do the job, and being a kind soul , if i have enough left to enable you to do your fix , then ill gladly send onto you as well. text me your full details please using 07929 159828,

you are welcome , as i mentioned i stuck the terminal back in place with the tabs, ( awkward sods to peel open) then refixed to the rear window, then covered the lot with araldite to provide additional strength, plenty of continuity now all is together and working fine .
