I've done some painting with satin black rattle cans. It's been dry for a while but seems a bit delicate, it gets marked a bit to easily. Would you expect this and is a laquer coat normal/required?

Cheers

Satin black one coat rattle tins are a cheap and cheerful way of painting.

But.........................

The paint is thinned to hell. You need a million coats..

Its one pack not two pack so it will be softer and damage easy.

One pack laquer in rattle tin is the same. Thin and poor resistance to damage

In the world of paint you get what you pay for. IMHO.

B0llox! Wished i'd realised that beforehand. Won't bother with lacquer i'll just touch up if any bits get damaged.

Thanks guys
