pc help needed

just aquired a asus eepc901 netbook i need to reformat it has anyone out there got the asus restore dvd for this machine cant download it anyhwere its on xp not linux could anyone copy one for me please

    I had one of those, or a very similar one a few weeks back. It's not a lot of use to be honest. You can install certain versions of Ubuntu on it, or XP (which is a real challenge due to disk space), but I couldn't get hold of the original Asus disk either. Mine appeared with some cloud based linux type OS on it, can't remember which right now, but it is mentioned in one of the Wikipedia pages.
