something i've been going to sort since i got the car but not got round to it yet, on the rear of the drivers side sill a previous owner has tried jacking the car up so the lip at the bottom on the sill is bent over plus it's pushed the bottom of the sill panel in also, my concern is the targa drain that doesn'e seem to be draining because of this damage, can it be straightened or am i looking at getting the sill cut open & repaired, also got same damage on the passenger side front but thats bottom of the wing so should be easier to resolve.

It all depends on how bad it is, is there any sign of corrosion. If so then probably the best bet is to cut out the affected area and replace with new metal. If the metal is solid then it may be possible to have the dent pulled out and the lip straightened. Either that the lip straightened and dent filled which would be the easier/cheaper option.

Are you certain the targa drain is damaged and that its not just blocked?

the targa drain runs out through the lip on the bottom of the sill but thats bent 90 degrees round from where it should be so no chance of it draining

That's not sounding too good then. My sill's were bent back as well when I bought the car, when I went to straighten them I found that they were badly corroded. I replaced the sill panels and the drain tubes. You could try and straighten them to see what happens but I would not be too hopefull if the tubes are kinked.
