Oil pressure sender

Hi All,

I've been waiting for an oil change for months to replace the oil pressure sender too. As my mechanic was supposed to be doing my bushes last w/e I asked him to do that too. He says he can't find the sender(!?!?). I know some others have had trouble locating it - is it in a different place from the documented standard location on a 1990 Jap TT??

Thanks in advance!

Some cars is by the oil filter actually attached to the part where you screw on the filter. Others like mins is on the otherside of the car. Same location of the oilfilter, but on the left side of the car.

on mine it was near the left turbo, just tell him to look for the wire harness which fits into the sender unit, the sender unit is shaped like a small barrel going into the engine.its in a mirror image on the left of ya engine(opposite to the oil filter)

you must be looking from underneath the engine to see it.jay
