I've got a set of rear brakes from an R33, they are brembo calipers. Does anyone know what they might be worth? I bought them ages ago and for the life of me cant remember how much for and theyve sat in a box ever since.

 

It was one of my many "i'll get around to that" plans but of course I never have.

About 200-250 mate

Blimey worth more than I though hmm, might take some pictures and put them up for sale.

Are the rear brakes still available?

Are they from an R33 GTR?

Are they complete - Do you have the discs, pads, shims, pins ectt...

Hi mate yes I still have these.

 

From memory there are the Calipers, discs a new set of pads (nothing special) and there are at least 2 pins and both pad clips. There was a 3rd pin, i actually left it with my dad who was going to modify another spare pin I had in order to make it the same as the other 3. Now wether he still actually has those two pins and can find them I would have to ask. There may even be some brake lines but i'll have to look in the box for you

 

However, I'm sure hardware kits will be availble for the calipers.

 

They are branded brembo and when I bought them the guy told me they were from his R33 GTR. If I did them out I would suspect there is a part number on them so will try and have a look for you when im next at home.

If it's brembo breaks then it's makes no difference wither it's tpon a gts or gtr. If they are new and it's discs as well as pads then you'll have then snapped of you if you sell them for £200 on the gtr forum. I may take them off you for spares on my own gtr.

I'm on with it mate, no idea what to value them at to be honest. I've got to dash out now, will have a route through the box tonight and post back on here.

Infact I'm going to do it now otherwise I will forget...

 

So on delving into the box of mystery there is

 

2x Disks

1x Caliper (much to my surprise. however ive just remembered I left a caliper with Dad, who has the other pin (s) )

1 pin in the caliper in the box

2x Pad clips

1 set of pads

 

My parents are on holiday at the moment, but i'll try and drop into the house tonight and have a route through the workshop and see if I can find what I have. The other caliper must be there - I hope it is anyway! Leave it with me.

not want to diverse much but your tyres 275/35//18 fit under the arch of a 300 no probs then?
