Round 5 of the Z Club Drag Challenge will take place on 8th July at the Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford upon Avon.

This round incorporates a Bracket Challenge for a minimum of eight cars (option for a sixteen car field if the entry is overwhelming :rolleyes:).

Entrants need to be on site early to ensure that they get signed on and scrutineered. Please ask the scrutineer to issue a "Z" prefixed number!

Morning will be free practice to dial in your car to the track and conditions. There will be two Z specific qualifying sessions to determine ladder positions.

The Eliminator will take place later in the afternoon. For an eight car field, there will be three rounds culminating in the two top cars meeting in a final shoot-out.

You don't have to be quick to win! Slower cars receive a startline advantage over faster cars equivalent to the difference between their "dial-in" times. In theory, everyone crosses the finish line together. In reality, the most consistent drivers with the best reaction times will take the wins. Confused? You need to be on site by 9-00am. Signing on will be limited as per North Weald, plus you also have to get scrutineered.

 

Should be space in the Club parking area on the left just before entry point to the fire-up lanes.

 

Helmet and licence...

I will hopefully get involved in this next year, Time I got re-subbed to the Z Club :)
