Ok, probably gonna get some really witty remarks on this one... smile.gif

Any time the speed goes over 105 kph, a little gong goes off, and keeps going until speed drops below 105 again. Anyone have any ideas what it is? And how I stop/adjust it?

I know Jap cars make a *noise* when you exceed their speed limit, it acts as a reminder to slow down, I'm sure there are plenty of things you can do to get rid of it, someone else will be better able to advise you about that.

Ahh, thanks for that one!

Imagine that would get pretty annoying after a number of miles up the motorway.

It can get annoying esp when I'm with she-who-must-be-obeyed as she doesn't like the stereo as loud as I do!

Other cures:

- drive faster (always within the limits, of course, officer) so the wind noise obscures

- buy a Mongoose or even louder zorst

Me - I quite like it for some strange twisted reason. It's quite a gentle bong.....bong.....bong.....bong compared to, say, that BT woman who got her friendliness voice training from a mix of Thatcher and Hitler when she says (after the most piercing daa dii deee you can imagine) "SORRY - YOU HAVE DIALLED INCORRECTLY"

Cheers - Gio

If you like it that much drive with the door open and the lights on.
