Re-watched the old Top Gear episode recently where they do an "award" for the greatest driving songs ever... with things like:

 

Queen - Dont stop me now

Deep Purple - Highway Star

Meatloaf - Bat out of hell

 

Now whereas this stuff is decent (I'm into a lot of classic rock etc myself), it's all a little bit predictable. Do people have any favourite driving songs that are more recent or more unknown? :)

 

I'll put the following into the mix:

 

Jet Black Stare - Ready to Roll -

Airbourne - Runnin' wild -

Danko Jones - Code of the road -

Priestess - The Gem (nb - if instrumental intros bore you then fast forward to about 1 minute 30) -

 

What do you guys reckon to these? Have you got any other favourites?
