Was my last day doing on the side weekends at McDonalds today.

Some awful driver there. in the 9 weeks I was there:

a guy wrote of 3 cars. and now has a grey 1.4 golf, however he crashed it 4 days after buying it, so now has a blue front end.

A girl coudnt get her car to start so a kind customer got out the jump leads, to jumpstart her, but she left it in gear when starting, and crashed into him.

Finally today a girl with a Clio, left the handbrake of and it rolled back into a park Impreza. Absolutely mint example, I spoke with the driver, a real decent bloke, said he was heading down to a Subaru specialist in devon as he has a rolling road run booked for tomorrow. He was pretty devistated, the girl had no insurance on her car, which made it worse. However, the store manager gave him McDonalds insurance details to claim from. Im pleased for him that he can sort it out, but a bit peed off that the girl wont learn from her mistake, because its coming of someone elses insurance

Agree, some people just dont car about others. But if bad things happen to them they scream bloody murders!

I'm loving it...

Was the stupid bint that didn't have the insurance reported to the police then?

I hope so mate. Its wrong, some people have old bangers and dont care about their cars, They dont realise how those of us who take pride in our vehicles really do care.

What pees me off the most is that most insurers now offer as an extra on your policy, cover at an additional premium in case you get hit by an uninsured driver. So not only are these bar stewards pushing prices up by driving uninsured, but in order to fully cover yourself against them you get to pay even more! Car insurance does my bloody box in!!

Yup that really boils my pi$$ Roobarb. I've been driving for yonks & fortunately never had any sort of accident but I bet it'll happen at some point & I'll get penalised! Gah, hate insurance companies

My celica got ka'd from behind!! Think it will affect my quotes for 5 years. You can understand why people claim for whiplash!!

You can also understand why you want to punch the person at fault until their eyeballs land on the Tarmac!!!

Tell me about it mate.

Thing is, on of my old cars was hit when I was parked, (I was in the car) only about £600 damage on a £16,000 car, next to nothing. Got the guys reg plate, as he drove of. Reported to the police and got it fixed on his insurance thanks to the police.

But for about 6 months after the "accident" I had constant calls saying are you sure you wasnt injured? we can file an injury claim and get you thousands of pounds in most circumstances.

I wasnt injured, I dont do fraud, I would like the money but im not like that. But they almost encourage you to do it.

I thought they were supposed to be clamping down on the whole accident claim thing but ultimately we're all legally obliged to keep our cars insured & car insurance is big business so by hook or by crook the buggers are getting our money aren't they?

You can also understand why you want to punch the person at fault until their eyeballs land on the Tarmac!!!
