my passenger side electric window has decided not to work, have check voltage to the swith and to the middle pin of the multi plug i have 12v but nothing is working are there any fuses for the electric windows or is the problem likely to be something else?

Featured Replies

Might sound daft but check the switch for the window lock on the drivers side, if this is down the passenger window wont work :)

already checked that had the window module out and checked that also seems i have a loose connection it's all come back to life now

Very common to get a dry joint or two in the window module, had it on my and after a quick resolder it was perfect :)

i couldn't fimd a dry joint in mine so i resoldered the whole thing to be on the safe side, it never worked straight away but used the switch a few times heard a couple of clicks at first then it came back to life, found a dodgy connection all clead and sprayed with wd40 now so fingers crossed

on a previous Z I had a similar problem with the passenger window - traced the wiring back and it was a right mess in the door and nearly broken. Quick cut and recrimp and it was good as new.
