Had to take off my rhs boost pipe to the throttle body N/S to find a screw that got dropped amongst the plumbing. When I tried to fit it back on again the throttle body end got all crumbly and bits broke off. So now its back on with duct tape to hold the boost. Not pretty but it works. Nissan want silly money for these pipes. What alternatives? I heard of Samco.

smithy sells this kind of stuff, can do shiny hardpipes too im sure his prices are not excessive either

someone must have one from fitting one of Smithy's kits. I will soon if you can hang on a bit.

Samco ones are about £75 but I've been waiting for 3 months for mine.

May as well have saved up for the Smithy ones in that time!

Smithy's pic above only needs the silver powder coated plenums from Dick300's Z to finish off a really nice engine bay!

 

The full shiny stuff might be overkill for my budget, and mucky engine, and I was warned not to clean it as it goes great etc etc.

 

Chris, where do you get the plain Samcos without the shiny pipes? and is that £75ish for the 4?

Willie, anyone who sells Samco can do yer the hose set but cos it's one of the most unpopular sellers, as Chris said, it takes months usually to come through, even Luke doesn't stock em, go for the shiny stuff
