one at each end of hose, stops any fluid coming out of pipes.

wot he said but theyr really just an expesive solution..get a coke bottle and a bit of hose and drain the fluid

what are you doing?

if your doing a braided brake line/hose swap then id bleed the brake lines fully till theyrs no fluid left.. then theyrs no need for them..

Long term I will be going for the braided system, (winter project) but for the moment I need to service my rear brakes in time for the dreaded MOT in a few weeks time.

I think they are sticking.

well the best thing you can do is whip them off and inspect them..get a refurb kit and well refurb them..if it is the hoses then dont bother with the clamps coz youll have to bleed the system anyway

when you come to replace the hoses with braided ones youll see where they conect to..i.e the upper arch to the caliper..and them clamp things arent really worth the money if your buying them just for that..maybe a good tool for oter things but buying them just to replace brake hoses..no...

thats just my opinion..dont want to put you off buying them coz they would come in handy
