Sided Alloys + crap tyres

Having to replace one of my wheels thanks to a 'kerbing incident', spoke to AndyZ who pointed out that the standard alloys were sided. Having looked at mine, it turns out I have three rhs wheels and one lhs :-(

Unfortunately I didn't damage the odd rhs one and will have to keep it until finances improve - can this cause any probs or is it simply a matter of cooling the brakes??

I presume that the slope of the alloy cutouts should be at the back of the rotation and the flatter bit at the front..(?)

On a side note, the tyres on the front are crappy Federal 225/55/16s - the wrong profile size I think - will this b*ll*x my handling or simply look like crappy wagon wheels??

Cheers!

Its shouldnt do too much to the handling. The ride height will be slightly higher at the front than back but only by about 1 cm. You may, as discussed in another post, get more flexing on they tyre, but unless you are going 100mph round tight corners you wont really feel the difference
