Wow, looks like a big job. Project for the winter then!

Whats holding your plenum on??? Here's a list wink.gif

Bolts - obviously

Coolant hoses - across the rear...

EGR feed tubes - towards the front and a complete PITA to free up

PCV hoses - middle either side

You've taken on one hell of a job here m8! Get the new gaskets ordered too - DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER replacing the plenum without replacing the gasket!!! Boost leak city wink.gif

Duffman, once the Intake plenum is off can you get to the turbos easily? I mean would you be able to replace them with the intake off?

Erm, NOPE!!! Wish it really was that easy though wink.gif To remove the turbos on a top down approach you'd need to remove:-

Upper intake (plenum),

Lower intake manifold,

both heads with exhaust manifolds

Big cost though cos you are looking at replacing the HGs which, to be honest, aint so bad really lol..

oh well might be easier taking the engine out to do the injectors and turbos at the same time

There's a company around the Raleigh way (Essex) that replace the turbos without removing the engine, done a few sucessfully they tell me. Seem to be mainly Toymota specialists and mostly MR2's. Called Westfield I believe and seem to be pretty well regarded among the hairdresser (oops sorry, MR2) guys.

westfield are meant to be good but i took my car there once to have a word with them and the mechanic said he didn't like them and didn't rate them mecahnically

I won't let anyone work on my car once they say something like that

Instead I go to regency Autos (in yellow pages) and they are wicked bunch of people, was recommended via this forum.
