Has anyone had any experience of the Driftworks bushes, they are a fair bit cheaper than the powerflex and superflex equivalents and ideally looking for bushes that it isnt required to leave part of the old bush casings in when fitting them.

Just buy some solid bushes. only take 15min to fit all round :)

The subframe is out the car now, so no point in just taking the easy route :). Plus I think what you are describing is just the collars which lock up the frame to the chassis as opposed to bushes. The road noise is bad enough as is without doing away with the isolating properties of the rubber.

There is only one of the subframe bushes shot, I am tempted just to replace that one and keep the standard set up.

If the subframes is out then you may as well replace all the bushes now, which ever you choose, as the others will go sooner rather than later as they are probably all 20years old

I noticed no differance what so ever when i fitted the collers but i know what you mean:)

There is no point just replacing one bush. The other bushes may look fine but they won't be as solid as the new bush. Replace all four, It's a pain getting the first one out but once you know what your doing the rest will come out in about 10 mins each as dave said.
