Just a quick question, I'm doing a service on the 300 tomorrow and will be changing the plugs. Question is, To remove the coils do i just remove the 2 bolts that hold it to the manifold and pull it out or as it seems with every other job on these is it alot more complicated than this??

Yep pretty much, just give them a wiggle and pull them off (sounds a bit rude that.) don't forget to unplug them first. You will need to undo the balance bar for the final one cyl6, gets in the way and stops you pulling it out.

Cheers, knew about the balance bar part of it. Just didnt fancy going to start the service and realising the plugs were a nightmare, hate starting a job and not getting it finished!!

Dont use a solid spark plug remover socket ie: long bar in one jobby, you cant get the angle and will break a plug ( Yep i did that once lol)
