Isnt it about time for a wee mini meet, anyone up for the old favourite meeting haunt sometime in April before the season kicks in and we all end up rushing about everywhere for the really big meets :clown:

I guess that your Zed's come out of hibernation then?

When ever suits, I should be ok

Nope it's still tucked away and its looking like its going to be May before I put it back on the road. I want to remove and clean up the rear subframe but not sure I'm going to have the time, plus Ive got my sisters old car sitting on the drive until I can get it sold, so stuck for space.

Did you get your car painted then?

im up for it as usual work permiting that is

Shouldnt nappy changing duties be mentioned in there as well :)

Most of it  Big problem in trying to match the previous "custom" colour :detective:

They sorted out and reshaped the rear arches, repaired small dents and scrapes in the wings and doors, Painted the rear bumper, rear quarters, rear panel, doors, wings and bonnet (they'd scraped the bonnet, so that was F.O.C).

However that's made the remaining paint look poor, so she's going back in a week to complete the job.

Looking at new wheels now, that's a minefield

Will you be in on Sunday or are you away chasin' sheep again?

It's off season for sheep at the moment. Most of them have just dropped lambs and will take a bit time to heal up and the lambs are just so small theyre likely to burst. So gonna give them a mis for a couple of months. I am however planning on going out for a walk in the hills this afternoon to answer your question.

Good to hear your getting your car sorted, and whats wrong with the wheels you have ? do you just fancy a change.

The wheels are starting to feel their age (not like me at all :whistling:), corrosion has broken through onto the face of the most of them  and given that

they're about seven or eight years old maybe - is it worth it to have them properly refurbished, as it would cost at least a couple of hundred pounds?

Anyway - here's some piccies of the Zed when she was in the bodyshop.
