Strut Bars....are they any good?

I've seen several of these "strut bars" advertized on various websites and e-bay and I was wondering if anyone here has them on their car. If so has the handling increased noticiably by putting them on?

Thanks

This is hearsay only, but I read that you should upgrade in this order (diminishing returns etc) :-

Anti-sway (roll) bars - from Suspension Techniques

Rear strut bar

Front strut bar

I recently fitted the front & rear sway bars and a front strut brace. They gave a very noticeable change in handling characteristics. I set up the rear sway bars for oversteer and its great fun. Didn't bother with the rear strut brace as it messes up the rear trim panels. whether you get the same from just having the front strut brace I cannot say.
