Well, after nearly a week of driving my Z, I can say I am very impressed. The first day in the wet was great fun! Driving around in the sun with the roof off turns quite a few heads as well. But you know all this allready. I tried to that HICAS test thingy with no luck, any pointers?? Also, is there a way of removing the speed limiter (155) without altering the boost? Not that I've been going over 170 without a problem at 9psi. Could there be something wrong with my speedo? because I thought the car was standard.

Thanks

Rob.

WOW!!! I'm impressed too... that you've lasted a week at those speeds. (private track of coarse;-)

Speedo's can be out by 10%ish. The boost you're kicking out will not alter the speed limiter.

Many past threads discuss removing the rev limiter. Increase the number of days displayed and use edit-find to search for limiter on the forum.

Take it EZ. I find you can get as much pleasure from tearing up roundabouts as you can from top speed runs. In the time it takes you to check your speed and revs at 150+ you've done 200 meters.

If you don't want to heed my warning take this advice. Check the speedo, look up... then check the revs!

Talking of speedos, I've had mine converted to MPH. When I hit about 138-140mph, it won't let me go any faster. I've got plenty of revs left but nothing. Could this be the det. sensor, or a restrictor? SE done the conversion and told me the restrictor was taken off.
