Is the 1600 sport the proper rare one - only 100-odd built? or is that another model. Strange that its 1600L on the log book, as thats a model of its own... :wacko:

 

I am tempted to buy an old escort off my mate's mate, its an ex rally car with full safety device roll cage, buckets, harnesses, modified crossflow engine, quickrack, spots etc, its very cheap and would be a great retro car, but its a mk3, nowhere near the sort of appeal that the early models have. :(

Pretty sure it's the 1800 Harrier that's rare,had the BDA engine..........

The Harrier was rare, a modified car mag modded one as a feature car back in the late 90's. Cant remember which one tho
