all been going smooth untill tonight

 

to what i have been told the NA Rear half of the drive shaft should Mate up with the Front half of the TT Shaft

 

it dose not they are completely diffrent in size

 

 

am i doing some thing wrong ..

 

pic below shows rear tt half with front na so u can see size/hole diffrents

looks like you may have to use the full shaft from iether the n/a or the tt coz any way you look at it thats not mating up

acording to the pdf the Na gear box and TT have the same output spline shafts

turn the na prop round that flange supposed to bolt to the diff

 

there both the same size but all so it was all ready bolted to diff

funds permitting you could get a one piece

lighter n you dont need to worry bout the bearing failing

the difference should only be at the diff end. 6 bolt fixing on the tt and 4 bolt on the na

sorry i edited my post as i wasnt looking at the pic properly!

Remove the more square flange from the front half if the TT prop and replace it with the round flange from the front of the n/a prop, easy enough just undo the 27mm nut and then tap it off, and refit accordingly you will end up with two matching round flanges on a sort of hybrid prop, this works because the flanges have the same internal spline count and size where they fit on the shaft.

 

The only issue you may come across is balance issue as they are not a matched pair, you might be lucky and its ok.

cheers for the Help Lads .. all done and fitted now

 

ended up fitting the complete NA drive shaft

Sub frame Locking spacers

Upper Ajusting arms

and a good clean and lick of paint
