Mine suffered with that last year, was internittently ok, then refused to change. I had a gearbox oil flush done and helped for a while then I had to have it recon'd. Speak to Jeff @ Zedworld, he seems to have some luck with sorting them out.

cheers mate ill av a word with him, cant afford to get it recond just yet. getting whole interior retrimmed in cream and black leather

How much is that going to lay you back? I was going to go for leather then remembered getting into one on a hot day with the roofs out, burnt arse! I'm going for Konig seats in black cloth and a retrim to match. Would luv to see your car when its finished though. Are you getting a Z embossed on the seats?

Get your Auto Box flushed.......

I had mine done by Jeff @ Zedworld and now it feels like a new car!

My Z was holding gears, really bad under load, was clunky and chuffed out black smoke too. It went in for a Gearbox flush and nows runs sweet as a nut.

The Box should be flushed at least ever 12 months to keep it in tip-top condition.

Plus it's cheaper than a recon (that's if it is the problem!)

2 x Konig K5000G seats in 3 types of material and extra material for retrimming back seats and all grey cloth covered panels = £945. That includes VAT and delivery. Very pleased. Now all I got to do is to wait 5 weeks for it to be delivered.

CHEERS TOP SQUAD THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE PROBLEM LETS HOPE SO ANYWAY (MAGIC STUFF) BET U CANT WAIT JOHN ILL HAVE TO C EM WHEN THEY R FINISHED & COMPARE NOTES

Mines doing the exact same think right now.

I did the Auto transmission diagnostic which gave me an error code 3, TPS circuit problem.Checked all the fuses and found one out replaced and checked all connectors to the TPS. Error code now gone yet still stuck in second.

I am doing a gear box flush next week, lets hope that clears it up. I'd be surprised if i need a recon, the cars only got 45K on it, or does this matter??

Roy

same here mate mines only done 52k so i shouldnt think its had it.Been speaking to a AUTO BOX technicion at the weekend & he tells me its an elecrical fault and needs a new oil cooler
