NEWBIE AGAIN!!HELP NEEDED PLEASE

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a sep 89'TT 300zx japanese import,picked it up today but now i am stuck here are my problems.

1.what kind of petrol would it use ul or l?there is nothing to say?

2.where in london can i get it checked for peace of mind ?and where can i get the speedometer converted without paying an arm and a leg?

3.Please if there is anything i should know please pass it on.

Japanese have 100ron petrol. Most people use normal unleaded, but most use Optimax because its 98RON.

Optimax is guaranteed 98 RON minimum when it goes into your car, whereas most super UL is only refined at 97 RON and they dont guarantee a minimum RON, so could degrade to 95 even!

Use optimax! and get your top trumps cards too! biggrin.gif

If your near to Slough, my mechanic can do the conversion for you.

 

Plus you will need to get it through an MOT to register it.

ochuks - I go to a place near Kingston, called S&M I think. Normally has a couple of Zs and other imports in there but quite busy so could leave you waiting.
