Ok warmed the zed up whilst getting last bits ready and came out to a large wet patch on the ground looks like its coming from rear of engine .... Cooled down now checked water level in rad only half litre needed but looks like good litre or two on the floor could this be aircon gone ?????

Check the water hoses to the matrix at the bulkhead, all water pipes at the rear of engine. Air con is refrigerant not water.

I would certainly check all your hoses as your rad may have only taken half a litre there could be a massive airlock in the block/heads or piping, its not un common for the zeds splitting the pipes. There is loads of waterpipes that are vunerable under the plenum and around the rear of the engine..Lee

If you on the back of the engine....wait mark put a good photo up the other day with the lay out of the water pipes on the back of the engine. you will have to check and replace, if you haven't done so already might be an idea to do a plenum by pass, dont just renew the pipe thats split, as others will be the same age, may as well replace them all in one go to have piece of mind.
