by the way you if you take note of the second colour on the wire you cant go wrong

Pay attention to the arrows on the PTU's bud, but if you have some loom with both use the secondary colour on the wire (the thinner colour) it should match up.

yeah, i noticed this when i wired mine up, all the little colour stripes down the plastic, all match to the corresponding wires on the other loom its the major colour that differs.

 

Ive hard soldered my S2 PTU loom onto my new wiring loom that had Pink (yes pink) cabling with the smaller colour wire the same colour as the one for the S2 loom. if you get stuck i can get some pictures of mine if you like?
