I cant on mine if I click on 'search' direct but it I click on 'todays posts' then 'search forums' at top left of page I can then search, if that makes sense.

New forum software is being tested and will be updated when ready, should cure any issues using mobiles.

Yeah as said if you go into todays posts then use the portal on the right it will work via the advanced search thing

My Android uses the search without a problem, but my old Android phone didn't. My last one was a Galaxy S and my new one is a Galaxy S II, 2.3.4 vs 2.3.5

Hmmm, I've got an S2, doesn't work for me tho, running 2.3.3, not a problem as I have bookmarked the search page, but how do I upgrade the software? Just popped in the menu, searched for updates and none found...

You need to plug it in to a Windows laptop with the USB cable and start up Samsung Kies on the PC, it will then tell you there is the 2.3.5 update available, however, that depends on your network, I'm on O2, who are usually really slow with Android updates, but this time it was available the day I got the phone.
