Well as many of you may know late last year i had my mk4 escort stolen and burnt out. Since then i've been using the Zed to get to work and back which has not been cheap. So i decided to buy a cheap car off ebay to use for work, and this is what i bought
Its a 1.8 16v VW Passat GT which i've named "The Brown Bomber". 230,000 miles on the clock, 2 previous owners (husband and wife), full service history. Bought for £230, took it for an MOT Monday, one month early, with the intention of just getting a list of problems to sort out to get it through, and it actually FLEW through! Only one advisory for a slightly corroded brake line. How surprised was i!!! Hopfully nothing goes wrong now! :p
