Guys looking at storing stuff online, docs, photos and contact lists.

Needs to be secure (well as possible) obviously. Don't mind paying for the right option, althouhg free would be best

Anyone have any good/bad recommendation? Don't have an Apple product if that makes any difference.

I was looking at http://www.dropbox.com any good?

thanks

seems it's a no go. You have to use Windows live or messenger

I do know someone that does highly secure online storage but it is at a price. If you want a price, I need to know the size of storage u need. You can pm me and I will get back to u in a few days.

Essentially, depending what space you need, Ubuntu1 is pretty good, free to a certain level, then costs money for extra storage. You can choose whether to sync photos, videos, files, etc. and works on Android if that's the type of phone you have? Also works on Windows, even though it's an Ubuntu product. Also, depending on whether you need automated cloud storage (Nothing cloud about it, except the provider uses some form of cloud computing to store it) or just storage for bits, and bobs that you can put somewhere manually, depends on what you should go for. PM me with some more details and I'll see what I can hook you up with, I work for http://www.RightScale.com, so you might say I know a little about Cloud :D

May sound a bit daft but couldnt you put the info you want saving on a disk or harddrive and have it stored in a bank safedeposit box??. This of course is assuming you dont need instant access to it online at any time.

It's mainly for my wife, who needs access from her desktop/laptop and occasionally her phone. She already has external Hard drive and multiple USB storage devices.
