hi i own a jdm z and was wondering if both mirrors should fold in as at the moment only mt passeger one works has any one stripped /repaired one

The one that doesn't fold as been replaced with one that doesn't

Mine are heated also but the passenger side was replaced at some point with a non heated glass, you may find yours is a similar scenario, take the door card off and have a look at the connector for a full compliment of wires coming from the mirror side, you should have 7

i also have a folding jap mirror drivers side in pearl white, but i guess you could use the meachanism parts?

Jdm mirrors, both fold. It could be that one has been replaced with a UK mirror. Does it fold manually?

If not then the plate at the bottom of the mirror was probably cracked and has been screwed in place. Its easier to get hold of another jap mirror and place your casing around it.

I know it's not going to be the cause in this case but where is the fuse located for the electric mirrors? It's not marked up on the fuse box layout.

Top row accessories you have a 10amp and a 20amp fuse next to each other, its one of those iirc.

It's the 10 amp Graham, the one slap bang in the middle top row, I know this as I keep blowing it when fiddling with the mirrors :crying:
