ECU types

Hi All,

I took my ECU out last night and found my chip had been replaced at some point (though not socketed...?)

Anyway, the chip and the ECU casing both have a label handwritten with 124T AT 7,500. I'm presuming that means auto with 7.5K rev limit. My car is a Jap Auto 90 - does this chip sound correct? Recent posts have suggested that gear changing will be odd if the wrong chip ECU combination is used...

My spec is as follows

ECU 23

23710 41P13

A18-000 M05

0517

Chip

124T AT 7500

Can anyone help please by verifying this is right or wrong?

Cheers + TIA!

RobH

Don't know what chip that is mate but I have used a UK chip in a Jap Auto with no problems at all. Maybe there is a problem putting a Jap ECU in a UK car or the other way round but unless you have had gear problems then what's the problem?

Would be good to identify what you have though...
