Have done a search but cant find much.......

 

A couple of times since the weekend my 'power' light has flashed 16 times when I turn the ignition on and the box appears to be pulling off in second gear, as it seems to require more revs than normal to get the old girl going.Has anyone else had this problem and know a possible cause?.

 

I am changing the box for a manual shortly, but dont really want any problems between now and then.any help or advice appreciated :)

Undet the bonnet, In the engine bay, on top of the drivers side inner wing about 8cm to the left of the hicas pump and approx 20 cm back from the headlight, 3 block connectors with a loom clipped the the rear of the power steering pot, that is then clipped to the plenum.

We do get u :) just inner wing is not in the engine bay :)

So whats it called then???, ive always called it the inner wing.

i would call inner wing under the wheel arch ... engine bay is just engine bay :)

I bought a repair panel for the area around a Capri front suspension top and it was called an inner wing repair panel, after an mot inspector failed it on a corroded inner wing.the inner wing isnt under the wheel arch, thats just a wheel arch.just about every site and forum ive looked at calls the area in question the inner wing :).

 

Perhaps a mechanic can tell us.

well you can always say "inner wing in the engine bay" its not about being technical its about getting people to under stand where your on about lol

my light doesn`t flash every time i start a car. it does once in 2 weeks. i just think it`s reving too high ... like 2.5k at 30mph. another thing it does not change gear it i keep accelerating it does change only if i depress accelerator ... it`s like driving manual :)
