As above, my hands keep going like ice blocks even when I'm in the house. So I was wondering if there was a vitamin or some such that I could take or exercise I could do that help improve my circulation.

Whats your current activity level like? Does it only happen at certain times or is it constant? Is there any associated tingling or just coldness?

PS - I won't suggest the obvious thing to do with your hands to warm em up lol

current activity could probably be best described as comatose lol. It's something that's happened on and off for years though. No tingling I just suddenly notice my hands are clammy..

cold hands don't work with that, the old boy tries to hide

get one of those hand excercise squeeze things and keep the muscles in your hands and fingers working

Ok so doing something which raises your heart rate and gets your blood flow going would be a start! But also using something to work your hands too, like a squeezy exercise ball/tool thing. Might be worth seeing you gp to rule out Raynaud's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raynaud's_phenomenon

pleasure mate ,if you keep the muscles working it should keep the blood pumping, its worth a go

I've had tingly hands after using my grinder but it's always gone away after a while, just thought it was normal. Fingers don't change colour.

That must be horrible mate

If I grabbed him he'd soon calm down, it would be better than a cold shower for him. lol

m8 dont mean to worry you but it does sound like white finger..

the early symptoms are whate your describing..like suttle pins n needles for a short period after working with vibrations..

id get to your doctor coz if it is vwf and left uncheckd then it can be quite bad..E.g if you work with vibrating tools daily then its a no.no

but get checked by your doctor m8

no jane i was lucky to catch it after 2 weeks of the symptoms

the doctor that tested me came to the conclusion that iv got cts from playing guitar to much..price to pay for ma genius

anyway i cant use vibrating machinary for more that 15mins at a time and guitar playing has to be keept to a 2-1 hour ratio..if it gets worse iv to go back but tbh iv only got dead hands about 1-2 nights a week now rather than 5 nights a week
