My Z32 will not pass 2500 rpm, and on very low fuel it can cut out around corners. The funny thing is that my car cut out on the same bend on different days 3 times. I have changed the fuel filter but had no luck. Do you think it may be the air flow meter?

Yep, definatly sounds like faulty MAF symptoms.

agree... clean the connector first and see if that makes any difference...

if not see if you can borrow a maf to test it's the culprit... or you might be lucky and get on in the for sale section...

Thanks a lot lads. Will clean the MAF and see how I get on.

Cheers

Failed it's mot on front discs and pads. Regarding the rpm not going past 2500, could not test the emissions. My local garage said it is the maf, waiting for new one to arrive. Will update you guys when the problem is solved.

Mmm, what new one? is it Nissan (many £££) or oem.. cheaper but not very good.

I used one on my car and had to send it back, made the car run like a dog!!!

The car has passed it's mot after changing the maf and two o2 sensors. She drives fine now but when I step on it, around 4000rpm it will drop right down as if there is no gas. I then depress the pedal and she drives fine, as if I am driving a manual car. The engineer could not find a fault when he connected the ZX to his pc. He said maybe the spark plugs need changing.

Any ideas?
