Just saw the news now, Bob Holness dead.

 

I remember watching him on that Blockbusters quiz when I was a kid.

I was sad to hear this - he was a great host on Blockbusters and really made the show fun to watch. In fact I only watched an episode of it last night from Challenge channel and thinking to myself whether he was still with us. RIP Bob. :(

i used to love the programme, i was far too young to know any of the answer's but at 5pm when we used to sit down for tea it used to come on and every now and then (very very rare) i would get one right and it was great

 

loved the old can we have a "P" please bob, lame as fook but great at the time lol

He will be living forever in camp sites all over the world armed with a blockbusters board game because you just can't resist singing the theme song :) He was over 80 years so a good age and god bless :)
