For those who don't know about this film its ridley scott directing a sci-fi film based in the same universe as the alien/aliens/alien 3 story with H. R. Giger working on the design of the sets and monsters.

Love Ridley Scott films (local lad up here too, the Blade Runner stuff was partially based on the chemical plants in Teesside), also love sci-fi!

Looks good, but the storyline is simalar to another sci fi film..... Event Horizon

I LOVE giger's stuff - off to switzerland in march to visit a mate and hoping to visit the giger bar while i'm over in europe :)

Have you heard something i haven't?? As far as i'm aware they're trying to discover the origins of humanity and discover an alien planet with the ship they discovered in the first alien film.

 

Prometheus as far as i know is the name of the ship they either discover or the one they fly out in.

 

Event Horizon was where they had a black hole generator and jumped between locations in the universe via hell and brought back an evil entity - totally different as far as i know.
