Oil cooling system .......WTF?

My oil cooling rad & pipework under the air filter is very large & very complex???

& after seeing others recently is 2/3rds bigger than the std.

Who's is it? & how much oil do i allow for it?.....As the dipstick is as relyable as a train !

Pipework is 13mm, & all over the place!

Rad is approx 10" by 5".

Even 'Tony' said where did you get that from!

A bit concerning really, so how much oil is needed to compensate - what comes out goes in or what?.......Lump & tubs have done 32k now?

Probably cos yours is Euro spec. Mines the same - got to really give it a booting to make it get warm. Your rad filler is on the extreme RHS too - means the big rad. The imports have less cooling - filler in the middle identifies smaller rad - ie not meant for continuous very high speed stuff cos there aint any (in theory) delimited highways out east!

euro cars also got an oil cooler on the diff. If you do any high speed stuff in the hot weather take a look underneath at the back offside suspension area and look for signs of leakage. One of my pipe conns was slack and the oil was leaking onto the exhaust - an oil pump comes on for the diff at high temp and high speed and if you have a leak pumps all your oil out! If you dont see a warning light showing a hot diff you'll soon stuff it.
