Can't put this in site suggestions...

But could we have a projects/build thread section?

From what i've seen on other forums best each person has 2 threads, one for the build with pics and updates, then a discussion thread people can put the replies in, then the build isnt spread across 20-30 pages of comments.

Yeah and you have to be subb'd to see it.

As said by Daz mate, we do have a section for this purpose, but it is in the Sub'd members section. so subscription is required. Harsh you may think, but it wouldn't be fair to have all sections open for all to see when we have paying members.

I wouldn't say it was harsh Kim. Perfectly reasonable for the projects forum to be a members only thing. Especially as it has different settings to other forums, i.e. the only person who can post is the original poster etc. From what I've seen most owners clubs do it the same way.

Nice to have feedback though rather than putting it all up and not being able to get a response?

You can get feedback by copying whatever post you make into a public thread, that way keeps your journal nice and clean

Yeah people tend to start a "comments" thread to run alongside the journal thread. The journal thread serves as a permanent record of your efforts, without the interruptions from us low lifes ;)

Yeah makes sense i guess, other forums in past ie http://www.cutomfighters.com

Have the main project thread the person posts in, then once people have viewed it they just put thier replies into the discussion thread.... (without a duplicate of the post)
