Really fast....

Im board of having no money, so instead of worrying about it, im thinking of what i'll buy when i get some money.

I want something silly fast.

Im thinking of GTR's or Evo's...

What can you buy, £5000 or so that crazy fast, or can be made to go crazy fast easy enough??

If you can find one of them bad boys for 500k let me know lol, they are selling at 2mil last time i checked and not many people are selling (wonder why lol)

closest i got to a mclarenF1 was on london's park lane when they had the mclaren shop down there. asked the lady at reception if i could take some photos of it. she said i could sit in it if i liked. i was that nervous climbing over the hand brake (essentially the other half of the center console) to get in it. didn't even want to touch the steering wheel but had too. just didn't want to damage it in anyway LOL

though i have to admit, i found it highly amusing how the lambo garage had about 7 or 8 cars in it, and the mclaren shop just had the one. it only needed the one at that point.

Unfortunately its no longer there :(

Regretting NOT getting suited and booted and saying i was a potential buyer and could i take one for a test drive, though i think i would of got told to Pee off. or i just would of been too scared at that point to drive the thing.

ROFL, reminds me of the time I went into an Aston/Lambo garage in Auckland, in ripped jeans and a T-Shirt, pretended to be an excentric young millionaire without saying it basically, this guy in a full 3 piece suit was trying to talk me into pre-ordering a DB9 Vanquish etc etc. Once I'd had a look around and sat in all the cars, I said I was leaving, he asked "Is there nothing else I can show you sir?", I said, thinking there was no way, "Not unless you can show me a 1990 Limited edition, pearl white Diablo with less than 30,000 miles on it", his reply was simple, to the point and ****ing shocking!!!! "Right this way sir", I was like, WTF!!!! SERIOUSLY!>?!?!

Anyway I followed him and in the back room was the showroom managers car, that he had for sale, it hadn't been valeted yet, hence not being in the showroom (Was ****ing clean as a whistle, but you know...) I couldn't believe it, 16,000 miles on the clock, left hand drive, imported from Italy, full blue velour interior and pearl white paintwork. I was stunned. He told me to sit in it and I felt like you with the McClaren, I didn't want to break anything. He asked if I would like a test drive, but unfortunately at that point I had to get back to my car valeting job that I had at the time, else I'd have been even further away from being a millionaire, so sadly had to decline :( It did cross my mind to admit I was a valeter and ask to work there instead, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, lol.

lol, i took me shoes off to sit in that mclaren lol, there was no way i was climbing in that with shoes on, my mate who was with me just pissed him self with laughter. ill never forget it, it was a silver 1995 mclaren F1. awesome bit of kit. i was so careful getting in even the receptionist was trying not to laugh.

After that, i felt id had a guilty pleasure and the lady at reception was that nice, i ended up getting the Mclaren F1 driving ambition book £50 for a book with limited edition poster of the car. awesome.

I remember years ago, going to very posh wilmslow to gawp at a Ferrari F40. Me n my sister rolled up in an old xr3. Didnt actually go in, just looked from outside, breathing on the windows till some snotty salesman came over an stood staring at us till we went away!!

I think if anything Jim go for an R32 GTR, mine was around the 400bhp mark and was absolutely stonking

 it was my daily car though for 18 months, back when fuel was reasonable and so were my wages

Yeah mine was my daily driver for over 2 years, never missed a beat until the oil pump went :( That was a sad sad day :(:(:( Mine was a lot cleaner than yours though, I ran a valeting company in the last year I owned it, so me and Rose washed and polished both cars pretty much every day.

Haha. I like it in White Baz.

Alex, ive sent him a message. Beat me to it if you like..:tt2::tt2::tt2:

I've got a picture of it parked under humber bridge somewhere I'll see if I can find it, looks sooo shiny that it almost looks fake, lol

Nah I'm waiting another 3 or 4 years mate. At my age, with only a years NCD (Moving from UK to NZ, then back to the UK, then back to NZ then back to the UK was not good for NCD) it'd cost me about £3K to insure it :( I was paying £4.5k a year insurance on mine while I had it, but I was 19 when I got it and 21 when the oil pump went.

At that price, when it's that clean, I'm really not surprised, lol

Nearly 3 times what you want to pay, but OMG DROOOL

DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

well to be honest if i had the cash id just get one of these.

and i don't give a crap what anyone says.

Still the fastest Naturally aspirated production car in the world and looks the mutts nuts.

Yup - McLaren F1 is trully an awesome machine!!

I sat in one at the McLaren factory - I wasn't supposed to actually touch the car but got a bit carried away. Luckily security didn't throw me out, they just made me feel a bit naughty....

...worth it though!!

Richard:blushing:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
