Im board of having no money, so instead of worrying about it, im thinking of what i'll buy when i get some money.

I want something silly fast.

Im thinking of GTR's or Evo's...

What can you buy, £5000 or so that crazy fast, or can be made to go crazy fast easy enough??

You can pick up a shabby R32 GTR for that or thereabouts, it'll be around 400bhp for that but need some bodywork and probably a cam belt, oil change, etc. But that's some AWESOME motoring for not a lot of buck, trust me I've been there. Also just so you know, I used to compare driving the 450bhp R32 GTR I had, to driving a BMW 3 series, that had been given an injection of every drug on the planet.

I knew if i said GTR you'd be there in a flash!! Lol.

My mate has just bought another 33 GTR, im taking him to get it this weekend.

Thats whats got me thinking.

400bhp, isn't enough..

Yeah, it really is. Mine was 450 and I did a 3.4 0-60 at Silverstone. With GTRs it's not the BHP, it's the INSANE amount of torque from that straight 6 twin turbo motor, combined with the relatively light R32 Chassis.

My mates last Gtr had 414bhp, it was fast, but the power was too linear(sp?).

On an open road, it was very fast, but just putting your foot down, wasn't that impressive.

Then there was a problem with your mates GTR, lol. Baz has owned a 32 as well and his was more powerful than mine if I remember rightly? I could feel my stomach hit my spine in the GTR when I dropped the clutch.

Yeah its smithys old Z I think? spec to die for. surely that'll itch your scratch, and you'll have a fully working Z lol!

i think id save for a while longer and get a nice gtr then when i got bored throw a few grand gettin the internals forged... hello 600hp twin turbo awd beast

It does look nice, not keen on red leather tho.

Thing is, i want something really fast. 400bhp is fast, but you get used to it.

4.6 i think. My mate had one. Not all that..

4.2 it says here. and thats standard, up the boost as most do and your into the 3 second 0-60 range and 11 second 1/4 miles.

very very fast for a road car. no matter what you compare it to.

and comparing a rally cross car to something you can put on the road, its not worth it, its barely a car. the only car like thing about them is the shell, and even that is VERY different from a normal car.
