Just wondering if there's anything to watch out for, do i need to have the battery disconnected before i unplug the old one? or do i need to do something with the main ecu after i've fitted the new one?

Any advice would be helpful...

Featured Replies

Very straight forward swap, simply unplug the old one and remove it ( 2 x 10mm fixings) and replace and connect the new one, no need to disconnect the battery or reset the engine ecu.

Think that'll be the thing. there's an abs ecu i think too, but not sure which is on which side, don't know if it differs to left or right hand drive.

I posted the schematic in your previous thread... if you are sitting in the back seat it's on your left, doesnt change between LHD and RHD.
