Looks like they have revamped the site, Its now slow buggy and over complicated. I placed an ad there two days ago (cost a tenner) and now its gone.

5 pound a day?? Not best really, look like its back to Autotrader:hang:

I heard some rumours about this on another site, but have not had a look - the general gist of the replies was: it was bad to start with, now they've made it worse.

It'll soon get patched up, I'm sure it will improve. What you trying to sell on PH anyway?

The new classifieds section is worlds ahead of the old one. It's a pretty big shift so there are bound to be teething issues, which they are working on.

It'll be brilliant when it is fully working. I can't see why everyone is whining about it on there? You can still access the old style classifieds if you want anyway...

I think if you get in touch with them they will extend your ad duration to account for the downtime.

Because I am selling a car now not in 5 or 10 days time, thats what I paid for.

Bound to have teething issues.......

Don't their IT people know you have to test software before it goes live ?

Yeah, I had a look in the classifieds after the change yesterday (still looking for that perfect Z!) and it seems a bit pants now tbh, compared to the old site anyway.

Just goes to show that form over function is definitely not the way to go when it comes to "for sale" sections!

The classified listings wont even give me a cursor to select a car in the listing, I have to select through the new search system

Not free any more but it'll stop these time wasting cockz that used to sell their cars -"just testing the water"....

I gather they are using people who know what they are doing. The new site was tested before going live but as with anything, there are always issues that can occur 'on the night'...

Gruntpa, I imagine if you get in touch with them they'll extend your advert period to compensate if they aren't doing that automatically.

What's your perfect Z?

good question :P i'll know when i see it! I was ideally after a silver (or black) NA (for now) 2+2. A guy on the MR2 forum had a fantastic one for sale, but it was just too earlly in the year for me to go for it. He wanted my MR2 plus a few quid and i was ready to rip his arm off - then we got approved on a mortgage and things got put on hold.

But now..............
